Yes. During our early release, all Base features (including cloud sync and web access) are free with no credit card required. When we move to paid plans, you will never be auto-charged. You choose whether to subscribe or continue using the free desktop app with your existing data.
The desktop app with offline mode is free forever, not just during early access. You get the full feature set: transactions, budgets, goals, investments, projections, analytics, import, and export. The only things behind a paid plan are cloud sync, web app access, and automatic bank import.
Your data is always yours. Desktop users keep everything locally. If you decide not to subscribe to a cloud plan, you can export all data as CSV or JSON at any time and continue using the desktop app offline for free.
Not yet. Base is billed monthly. If we add an annual interval we will let existing subscribers move to it.
Try Venova on the free desktop app for as long as you like before paying anything. That is what it is there for. If you do subscribe and then cancel, your plan stops renewing and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except where the law requires it.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. All payments are processed securely. We never store your card details on our servers.
