Enabling sync
Signing in is what turns on cloud sync. There is no separate switch. Go to Settings → Sync & accounts and sign in to your Venova account. Your data is encrypted on your device before it leaves.
After that sync runs on its own: a few seconds after you change something, periodically while the app is open, and when you close the window or come back online. You can also force one with Sync now in Settings → Sync & accounts.
Conflict resolution
If the same transaction was edited on two devices while offline, Venova keeps the most recent edit. New transactions from both devices are merged without conflict. If a transaction was deleted on one device and edited on another, the edit wins and the transaction comes back. Losing an edit is worse than re-hiding a row, so delete it again if you still meant to.
If a sync leaves your data looking wrong, a household owner can go to Settings → Your data → "Recover a previous version" and restore the whole document to an earlier point. Everything from the past 24 hours is kept, thinning to one version a day for a month.
